An eight case walnut longcase clock of good proportions, the 12 inch brass dial signed on the silvered chapter ring, subsidery seconds and date aperture: the ringed pillar movement with anchor escapement and locking plate (countwheel) striking. In a case of good colour with lenticel to the trunk door, ball finials flanking the caddy top, circa 1705
